The brief: I set up Big Torch back in 2016, and I needed a visual identity along with a name for the company.

The inspiration: The concept behind the name is fairly simple. The torch is also a symbol of enlightenment across the world. So I think that the best brands are smart enough to use smart design and big ideas to put their competitors in the dark. The “Big” in Big Torch comes from the fact that ideas can turn seemingly insignificant details into a big selling point.

The work: Off the back of that idea, I designed a clear and simple identity, alongside some high quality promotional materials. The business cards are finished in duplex with a block foil logo to the front of each card.
