Who are you?
I’m Steve Daniels, and I have 13 years experience in the creative industry. In the past, I worked for agencies across the North West such as Jellymedia and 2am before I set up shop by myself in 2016.
What do you do?
In a nutshell – big ideas, art direction and graphic design.
What are your credentials?
Apart from my experience in the industry I have a (BA) Hons Degree in Design & Art Direction. In my professional career I’ve had the pleasure of working alongside a diverse mix of brands, from international firms to local charities. I’m not one to rest on my laurels though. I regularly sharpen my ideas skills with One Minute Briefs. And in 2017 I was selected to compete in School of Thought, an industry programme aimed at developing the top creative talent in the North West.
What areas do you serve?
I hear a lot of agencies say that location doesn’t matter anymore, and that they can use conference calling and other technology to work from anywhere. And maybe that works for some businesses. But I think face to face contact is really important on any project. So where I can, I work with SME’s in the North West of England – specifically in Lancashire and Cumbria. I like to spend time getting to know you, your team, what makes you tick and your business challenges. From my experience, this leads to better work, and by spending time getting to know each other up front, it also saves time and money later on.

I accept calls and emails between 9am – 5pm GMT, Monday to Friday. Generally, if you need a fast answer – call me. If not, drop me an email.
Can you work onsite at my office or premises?
This is something I generally don’t offer (sorry!) I do offsite days to learn about a company and of course I’m always happy to meet up. But I do work itself in my own space in Lancaster.
Do you collaborate?
Yes! I’m a big believer in expertise. On most projects I’ll take the role of creative director and I’ll also be responsible for any design and art direction. But sometimes you might need more than that. You might need a copywriter, a web developer, a photographer or a video maker. The good news is, I have a strong network of creative specialists who I can bring in to help complete the project.
